Climbing plants, they green up your outdoor space in no time! But they still need a bit of support. In this blog, we tell you how best to guide climbing plants.
Climbing frame
There are climbing plants that can grow against walls or fences by themselves, but some climbing plants still need a little help. That is why climbing racks for outdoor plants have been created! Yes, really. Limbed plants especially like to have a climbing frame around them because they need something to run around. You can guide the plants at first by ‘pulling’ the stems higher and higher through the climbing frame. Be careful though, we don’t want any injuries.
Fence
Climbing plants are only too happy to grow up against a fence. Especially if you go for a self-attaching variety. Plant the climbing plants close to the fence, so that these climbers can grow up by themselves. Do they still need a little help? Then go for a climbing frame for guidance. Just make sure your green friend doesn’t grow in the wrong direction and steer them a bit from time to time!
